With the advent of Christmas 2018, but long before we get busy with the final preparations for those special days and the holiday season; Gucci mane has set the date for the release of his new album ‘Evil Genius’.
Gucci Mane set December 7 as the release date of Evil Genius, a 17-track album that he has made sure will feature several stars such as Kodak Black, Bruno Mars, Migos, Young Boy, among others. You can search here for no fee concerts tickets to attend live shows of your most loved musicians.
Coming after his latest album El Gato: The Human Glacier, which was released a year ago in December 2017, as is his habit, Gucci Mane had made the announcement of his coming album as far back as 2017, and precisely a week after releasing his last album.
Fans have been in anticipation of the album all year long, and it was just lately that the tracklist has been made known.
A hand-written piece of paper was shared on social media with the whole 17 tracks as well as the artist or artists who will be featured in each track. This was followed by a typed-out list that is a replica of his handwritten note.
It is noticeable that the single ‘Kept Back’ which he recently shared, is absent from the album, but the impressive number of stars that are featured on the album assure that it is a piece of work that has been given more than enough attention and work.
In fact, the album has been fronted by a single ‘Wake Up In The Sky’ which featured Kodak Black as well as Bruno Mars and was by all means measures quite a success.
Some of the tracks are: Off the Boat, By Myself, Bipolar – featuring Quavo, Not Goin – featuring Kevin Gates, On God, Outta Proportion, Wake Up In The Sky – featuring Bruno Mars & Kodak Black, Solitaire – featuring Glacier Boyz, Lord, Mad Russian – featuring Lil Skies, and Lost Y’all Mind -featuring Quavo, to mention just some of the tracks. Obviously, some of the featured artists have participated in more than one track.
Gucci Mane has made sure that nothing slows him down, be it marriage, prison; and he has even released an album during his stay in prison. Even though he is considered an older generation of rappers, but he has kept himself in front of the line with his work as well as the style of rapping.
With just days until the release date of Gucci Mane’s new album – Evil Genius- on December 7, we have but little time to wait for our own personal copy of the album, and to hear the new songs that he has prepared for his fans. It is not expected that fans will be disappointed, not with such a formidable joining of forces all placed in one album.
Gucci Mane’s upcoming album release is the talk of social media, and he has never kept his fans waiting, so listen to the album on its release.
