Sridevi died at the age of 54 in a cardiac arrest in Dubai
Yes, it is shocking but true! Sridevi, the late 1960s actress, passed away on Saturday (24.02.18) in Dubai in a cardiac arrest at around 11 or 11.30 p.m. She was just 54 years old. She was with her husband, Boney Kapoor and youngest daughter, Khushi to attend her nephew, Mohit Marwah’s wedding in Dubai. This news has been confirmed by her brother-in-law, Sanjay Kapoor.
The Veteran actor, Sridevi died last night. Shree Amma Yanger Ayyapan (Sridevi) is undoubtedly regarded as one of the biggest female stars, and before she entered in the Bollywood industry, she left her footprints in Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, and Kannada.

Her achievements:
- Award for the best child actress in Malayalam film Poombata (1971).
- Sridevi also made a Bollywood debut in Julie (1975).
- Her 1st adult role was in Moondru Mudichu (1976), a Tamil film at the age of 13.
- She was awarded Padma Shri, the 4th Civilian honor in the year 2013 by the Government of India.

Films like Solva Sawan (1978), Mawaali” (1983), “Tohfa” (1984), “Gumrah” (1993), “Mr India” (1987) “ChaalBaaz” (1989), and “Chandni” (1989) “Lamhe” (1991), “Sadma” (1983), took her to the heights of her career.
Her recent film was “Mom,” a revenge-drama against Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Akshaye Khanna. She has also shot a special appearance in SRK’s film “Zero” which releases in December.
